Going to the woods

We went to the woods to do a scavenger hunt and this is what we were looking for.

1. a stone with a hole
2. a seed head
3. 3 wild flowers
4. a feather
5. a stick man stick
6. a red leaf
7. a pine cone

On Monday we did this before they announced lockdown. Because of lockdown we can’t do this any more because this wood is too far away from us. But we are allowed to leave the house if we’re helping people who are very sick or if we’re going to the shop for food or medicine and we can do an exercise a day like walking somewhere close to you but not like playgrounds.

This is what we found!!!

We were in the woods and we tried to find a stone with a hole but we could only find normal stones!!!!!

we found a stick man stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We think the feather was from a baby bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a beech nut it was not on the list but we found it!!!!

We found a reddish leaf!!!!!!!!!!!

When we got back home we searched what this flower was it was Celandine!

This was a really old seed head it wasn’t the correct season for it.
